Product Engineer | Offshore Development Team
Job Description
LifeArk Co., Ltd. (Japan) supports Japanese companies through offshore software development and recruitment services. We are hiring a Product Engineer (Full-Stack) to work onsite in Dhaka, Bangladesh, supporting the product development of one of our client companies in Japan. You will collaborate closely with the client’s Japan-based development team and deliver end-to-end product features with high quality. As a Product Engineer, you will contribute to end-to-end development across backend, frontend, and infrastructure. You will implement features based on specifications and designs, ensure delivery quality through CI/CD and testing practices, and coordinate effectively with the Japan-based engineering team. Location: Dhaka (Onsite) Salary: 100K+ BDT / Month
Key Responsibilities
- Develop product features end-to-end across backend, frontend, and infrastructure
- Work closely with the Japan-based team to implement designs and specifications accurately
- Build and maintain scalable backend services using statically typed languages
- Develop modern frontend UI using frameworks such as React/Angular/Svelte
- Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines to ensure consistent quality and safe releases
- Participate in code reviews, testing, debugging, and release support
- Contribute to engineering best practices and continuous improvement
Skills & Experience
Must
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / CSE from a renowned university in Bangladesh
- 6+ years of professional experience in web application development (Full-Stack Engineer)
- 3+ years of experience in statically typed languages (e.g., Scala, Java, Kotlin)
- 1+ year of experience in functional programming (e.g., Scala, Haskell)
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Svelte)
- 1+ year of experience ensuring quality through CI/CD pipeline design/operation
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) for collaboration with international teams
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Dhaka (this is not a remote role)
