AI Engineer (Assistant Manager)
Job Description
We are looking for an AI Engineer to lead the development and enhancement of next-generation AI solutions within our organization. The role involves improving our in-house RAG system, designing and deploying AI agents for both internal and external use, and contributing to research on the latest advancements in generative AI. You will work across Azure and Databricks environments, utilizing tools such as Copilot Studio and Python to deliver innovative and practical AI-driven solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance and extend the internal RAG system based on user feedback on prompt engineering and UI/UX
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Develop AI agents using Copilot Studio as well as coding in Python and other programming languages
- Collaborate across departments to promote adoption and practical use of AI solutions
- Leverage Azure and Databricks platforms for AI development and deployment
- Conduct research on emerging AI technologies and apply findings to system improvements
Skills & Experience
Must
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of web applications (including UI/UX).
- Experience in developing web applications using Python (recommended), JavaScript, or Java (3 years or more).
- Experience in developing AI applications/systems.
- Strong interest in the latest AI trends (e.g., prompt engineering).
- Native-level Japanese proficiency (listening, reading, writing).
- Self-motivated individuals (those who can proactively report, communicate, and consult).
