Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily hotel operations including front desk, reservations, and guest services
- Ensure smooth check-in/check-out process and handle guest inquiries
- Supervise or assist staff in housekeeping, F&B, or concierge services
- Coordinate with kitchen, maintenance, and local vendors to enhance guest satisfaction
- Respond to feedback and resolve guest concerns with professionalism
- Support seasonal events, cultural activities, and local tours
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality service
- Participate in staff training and help onboard seasonal team members
- Report operational performance to hotel management or owners
Skills & Experience
Must
- Valid working visa or eligibility to work in Japan (e.g., Spouse, PR, Working Holiday, Student with work permission)
- Conversational Japanese (JLPT N3 or above) and basic English
- Customer service mindset and genuine passion for helping people
- Flexibility to relocate or live on-site in resort/remote areas (accommodation provided)
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays
Want
- Experience in hotel, ryokan, restaurant, or travel-related jobs
- Familiarity with Japanese hospitality culture (omotenashi)
- Multilingual ability (e.g., English, Chinese, Korean, Thai, French, etc.)
- Interest in Japanese nature, festivals, and regional culture
- Japanese Skill:
- Conversational Level (JLPT N3 and above)
